Welcome... Stuckey Straps*
are unique, three-finger restraints developed by a former Critical Care nurse. They are specifically designed for patients with peripheral IVs and arterial lines.
The patient's hand is secured by three woven, flexible finger-tubes, just above the second knuckle and when tension is applied, the tubes tighten. The open weave allows air to
circulate around the fingers. An extra-long, double strap can be easily attached to the bedframe with a bow knot.
When a restraint is required to |

prevent accidental removal of IVs, a standard wrist restraint becomes part of the problem, not the solution.
The solution is -- a
restraint that will keep the patient from self-harm, but will not interfere with the IV lines -- Stuckey Straps*
